Beyond Words, Into Meaning

About
My name is Eva Kilus
Meet me: a certified translator since 2009, fluent in the art (and science!) of words across Malay, Indonesian, English, and German. Not only do I bring text to life—I can give it a voice too! When I'm not narrating scripts, you'll find me jamming on the piano, sketching, or cooking up a storm (sometimes literally—kitchen experiments have consequences!). I'm equally at home writing articles, lost in a book, dabbling in new languages, or strategizing my next big win in video games. Translation is my first love, but versatility is my second nature. Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to a range of impactful projects, from crafting research articles and writing insightful pieces to volunteering with Translators Without Borders, where I provided translation support for Malay and Indonesian. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated closely with the World Health Organization, lending my translation, editorial, and voice-over expertise to vital health communications. Each project reflects my commitment to bridging language gaps and supporting global initiatives with precision and purpose.Let's just say I bridge cultures with precision…and a pinch of fun! (My social media profiles are under construction. Please bear with me :D)
